So Snugs didn't make it - why is it we can put a man on the moon, clone just about anything, build just about anything, but we can't deal with a tumour on a cat. She went before her time and however daft it seems to people without pets she was one of the family and will be missed each and every day.

AWESOME
I've had the best weekend - Hay was ace, I should put links and piccies all over the place but right now I'm tired and life's too short. Best bit was seeing Dylan Moran on Sunday night, the man is both a God and a pure Genius.
Also went to see Harry Potter 3 today, not bad..but not a patch on the book....

Almost forgot..am so proud of myself as last night I managed NOT to watch Big Brother!! go me!! no more 10 wk summer spell of being glued to the TV watching idiots sleep, hurrah!

Bored
..with life in general...
ever get like that? same old same old, day in..day out..yadda yadda work yadda laundry yadda dishes..on and on it goes...Tired out just thinking about it and not entirely sure what to do about it. Answers on a postcard please.....

Blimey
Must give credit where it's due - the Rayburn is ablaze, nice one Mikey :) This means I get a looong soak in the bath tonight which will put me in an infinitely better mood.
Tired, another Rincewind-sleepless night, little sod! Holdin' out for that 4 day weekend....

Stuff
So Mike read somewhere that you can use charcoal briquettes to light anthracite in boilers/agas etc. Now the entire house reeks of BBQ..and as far as I know the coals aren't alight yet! Bless.
Been a lousy day..have to report that the only thing keeping me sane is my rat - yes, I know, I go on about him a lot - but he's just so cool..he comes when you call him, he playfights, he snuggles, he's truly the perfect pet. I had no idea how great they are.
Nothing doing tonight, tired out and will be curled up with a book - gettin' old before my time....

I've spent all week looking forward to a good nights' sleep...ended up reading til 1am, then being woken up at 3, 4.30, 5.30 and 7 by Rincewind -many thanks little fella......
lack of sleep = grouchy GBC
Good to see Ma and Pa today - and Dad, if you're reading this, the Rayburn went out ;o) told you it's tricky!

All set up then, I think. Just took Rincewind to the vet..how much d'you think 2 injections would cost?...try #70...mad, isn't it? still, gotta do it for the little chap, monster that he is.
Parental visit tomorrow so must go and clean..everything....
